Organisation structure
The overall structure of the consortium is depicted as follows:
The work EQUIP-consortium will do is divided into seven work packages. To develop and implement the EQUIP-intervention, perform the evaluation and disseminate the results all partners and all WPs will interact closely as also schematically displayed in Figure below.
WP 3 Data Generation and Information synthesis and WP 4 Quality Management together form the core of the EQUIP-Intervention. WP 2 Policy and Bottleneck analysis will assist to develop the intervention but also provide important knowledge impact in the form of policy briefs. These policy briefs will include recent knowledge of evidence based strategies and new technologies to address areas of concern, such as Misoprostol to address bleeding, or Mobile Phones to improve communication.
WP 7 Policy Dialogue and Dissemination will be implemented in close cooperation with WP 2 to provide guidance for the design and adaptation of the EQUIP-intervention. Moreover, WP 7 Policy Dialogue and Dissemination will be active for the duration of the project. In the design and implementation period WP 7 will facilitate discussing the policy environment. Towards the end of the project WP 7 will assist to disseminate and discuss the results from the effect and economic evaluation with relevant stakeholders.
WP 5 Effect Evaluations and WP 6 Economic Evaluation will work very closely together with WP 3 Data Generation and Information synthesis. This is because of the dual purpose of the continuous household and health facility surveys, - to empower the QM approach and – for evaluation. Thus most of the necessary data for the evaluation will be collected as part of the surveys in WP 3. Moreover, information on feasibility will be available from the WP 4 Quality Management.
WP 1 Consortium Management will continuously facilitate the collaboration between all partners to ensure that all WP are complemented on time and within budget.
